Web Designer capable of making dropdown menu buttons?

Hello,..I was just curious if Web Designer was capable of making animated menu buttons that drop down when you rollover the button so that you can select an option from the list that appears? I would need to create a few of these buttons for a web site that I'm designing now. All I would need from Xara Web Designer is to construct these buttons so that I can import them into my webpage. Is this doable with Xara WD?

Yes. There have been a lot of threads about making these menus and tutorials are available like this one Don't know about porting them to another program though, can you not do the whole thing in XWD?

If all you want is the menu then you might be best to go for Xara Menu Maker. I still use it and it's very easy to integrate into HTML created elsewhere.

Another alternative is DHTML.

They tend not to be very sexy though. Menu Maker comes with loads of templated menus built in. I've used MM menus on a number of sites.
