is there a reason why the amp buttons are oval? I don't recall seeing them ever like that on equipment but then, I may be not taking in the artistic side of the site...

Hi Ernesto,
I'm thinking the ovals are to give the perspective that would be seen if viewing the amp straight on.
The dials are most often mounted on an angled plate so viewing from full front view they would look more like ovals than circles.
The image at this link is not full front view but the dials are more oval than circle. http://www.rocknrollvintage.com/prod...rb_amp%20b.JPG

Last XaReg update
Hey everyone,
I've been a Xara user since the original CorelXara was released ... right Gary?
I've upgraded to every version since and now to XWD which as I learn about all its hidden charms (i.e. meta tag additions via placeholders) is rocking my world!
My first large project with XWD was to give my own, original site (made with FrontPage) a facelift ... the process was a great tutorial in itself! So here's the result:

Cheers all

Here's my first XWD site almost ready to go (the pix page is a work in progress).
www.cimdocs.com/xara
I built it at 800 x 600, and I'm regretting it right now.
I think it may be too small, even though I read that it's probably the standard.
My prior web-bulder dynamically changed sizes, so it was hard to compare on my 24" monitor.
The text is small in places and makes it difficult to read.
Any thoughts on what size background to use? 1024 x 768?
I realize I'd have to resize everything on all the pages.
I'd appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

Merlin,
Great Site! Clean and simple, I would grow it to be 1000 by 1000 pixesl
Keep up the good work

Here's one of mine. The client wants to change the name of her site though now.

My Site
Sheff,
I like the site you designed. It fits the theme nicely and definitely looks custom.
Only thing I noticed in a brief look was that the page titles are still at the defaults. I'd change those to reflect the content of the page, both for visitors' and search engine spiders' benefit.
Yes, nice work, Sheff.
I noted that for the bio and press pages, the hair graphic on the right is doubled up. One scrolls, while the other does not. Additionally, they appear to have varying levels of transparency.
