  2. New Mexico Sunset

I have a folder of better than 700 photos of New Mexico sunsets and skies. I was looking through it the other day for a particular cloud group when this image jumped out at me. I had completely forgotten the image (along with most of the 700). But it holds up rather well I think.

  3. Photo Spot the Cat

Taken this morning just after sunrise. The automatic flash feature came on, which accounts for the odd lighting. How long did it take you to find Asmodeus (Prince of Darkness) or Asmo for short. Saludos, Bob.

  4. Cape Gooseberry?

We grew this plant thinking that it was a tomato. It turned out to be something different. The plant is now about 5 feet high and has a profusion of yellow flowers that develop into seed pods, that look like Chinese lanterns. I'm tempted to think it may be a Cape Gooseberry, except for the fact...

  5. Need suggestions

Hi, I'm going to teach Photoshop in a four day course (and my part will about 3 hours per day). The course is for hobby and amateur photographers who want to learn more. The topic will be nature and landscapes. I have taught Photoshop before but never with focus solely on nature & landscape...

  7. Castles

These were taken a few years ago in my pre-DSLR days, using a Canon compact. This was taken from Beeston Castle... long and winding road! This was in Bolsover Castle. Like many other places, it's managed by the National Trust, and they often have volunteers in period costumes to add to...

  8. Question On the verge of a new camera purchase but...

Alright, I've pretty much decided that I'm going to splurge and purchase a Pentax K-x DSLR camera bundle that includes both the DA L 18-55mm and DA L 55-300mm lenses. From what I've read the camera has received great reviews with regard to value, quality, features and ease of use. I've actually...

  10. Bathroom Window / Chinese House / Scenic View

Soft light through the bathroom window inspired an HDR session. This is the Chinese House and bridge to the Japanese Garden in the Shugborough estate (originally home of the Earls of Lichfield, now managed by the National Trust). On a visit last year to Hidcote and Kittsgate, this...

Hi I am back with more photos of our homeland, Gibsons, B.C. We like to call it God's Country because of all its natural beauty. Not to mention great salmon fishing! Are you jealous yet?

  14. Bill Proctor's B&W Harbour pics

Hi it has been a long time since I last posted any photos! My hometown, Gibsons Landing, British Columbia has always been a favorite place to take photographs. One place that holds significance is the wonderful, busy boat harbour. I especially tried to include these great cloud formations on a...

  15. HayTay's Eclectic Collection of Strange and Unusual Photographs

We all see strange, unusual, and downright weird stuff all of the time but rarely stop and capture the sight. This is, and will be, a collection of all of the freaky, and not so freaky, things where I took the time and snapped a photo. I don't think I'll be winning any photo contests with these,...

  16. Talking Caption this photograph

This is an old photo of my brothers wedding. No-one can recall the moment and what was so amusing. I thought it a great photo to add a funny caption to. I've added my caption, but what's your take on the event that caused these delightful expressions? :D -
