Good on you Harry - my crystal ball is away being serviced, otherwise I might have known that x DeaDLy was asking 'what the font' right away
BTW x Deadly, this forum is primarily a Xara software users forum (see foot of page).
Of course many Xara software users also use PhotoShop, but due to the price, speed and agility of Xara Xtreme (for example) PS isn't discussed quite so often.
And Welcome to TalkGraphics Forums
Thanks for the warm welcome =] and i do have one question. how do i take that font ghastly horror and give it the effect that the text "Tutorial" has ? Thanks!
X DeaDLy, you're quite welcome.
BTW, I didn't use What the Font on this one, Steve. Although I have in the past and will, no doubt, resort to it in the future as it is a valuable resource in identifying unknown fonts.
As sledger noted, many of use here on TG use Xara software products because of their price, speed and agility. What he missed mentioning was the fantastic results obtainable from their line of software. Just take a look at what was done using Xara's flagship product, Xtreme 4. In a few minutes, I came close to duplicating the original example you posted. Why not download the trial version of Xara Xtreme 4 and give it a try?Originally Posted by sledger

That is very amazing HayTay, can you explain the steps you took to duplicate the image? Thanks much !
You there man ?
Actually no, I'm here. It's you who are there
Don't worry Harry will get back to you when has some time I'm sure.
Unlike 'instant messaging' forums are little busier with lot's of things to read and catch up on.
LoL thx for letting me noe, i thought i was alone ahhaha ok i will wait
x DeaDLy,
Patience my friend. Give this a go. Mini-tutorials don't grow on trees and they do take some time.
My sleep is definitely suffering and I have to get up in two hours. Obviously that won't be too difficult since I haven't had any shut-eye, as yet. Sorry for the small size of the example pics, but we're limited in the size of graphics we can post.
Here's part 1 of the mini-tut...
