Just bought Xara Xtreme 4

I've been evaluating (for 30 days) it along with CorelDraw.
Although the price was a deciding factor; a big big part of the decision was helped by the incredible support on this board -- Thank you very much for your help.
Graphic design is not our main line, but we occasionally need a program to do precise drawings for printing to diverse media. Getting the job done quickly and efficiently is what we want. Your prompt and carefully thought out responses have helped on 2 occasions when I was stumped on doing something in Xara. Thank you.

One day, you too just might be helping others. There are usually 10 different ways to accomplish any task with xara. Some might be easier than others. So If you see a question and know how to help... Please add your way to accomplish it. You might be the one with the best "mouse trap". Some times the shortest is the best, other times the longest is.

I was just about to upgrade my Corel 11 to X4 when I got this e-mail. I almost forgot I had Xara. So I entered the forums and looked around at the training and decided to upgrade my Xara to 4 Pro. The help in the forums are top notch and the training is second to none. Great job guys and looking forward to learning this software ... finally!

What I usually suggest for people to do is to watch the videos that come with xara, play with the tool/tools discussed in the video. After an evening of that, go to the xaraxone and do a tutorial or two. After that, you will be drawing stick figures just as well as the rest of us.

If you have some artistic talent/training you might even be able to draw some really great stuff...

Warning... Xara is extremely addictive. They don't call it extreme for nuthin...
