Try to find this and you'll might find a xar file with another extension
then you might find the other files by searching on this extension

I know this sounds really stupid but didn't you ever do a backup?
and don't even mention organising them
-------------------------------
Nothing lasts forever...
doesn't sound stupid at all....................................not like how i feel now..lol
put me number one in that listI bet 99% of us don't backup as often as we should..
is that gibberish your talkingand don't even mention organising them
i had two programs running all day yesterday..................one already had xara files in the search option and nothing........ so that either means they aren't deleted or i got big problems with my hard drive or they are still on my computer but hidden or.............i'm a T** for not backing them up...........answers on a post card please
Some good has come out of this - I'm going to do a backup run..
Have you tried running CheckDisk (Start->Run->chkdsk)? Probably not going to do too much if you've already tried some recovery tools, but if there's anything hinky about the directory structure of your disk, it might fix the problem.
Actually come to think of it you should probably open a command prompt and run it from there. Otherwise the console window will disapear when it's done running and take with it anything it might have told you that could be important.
