    Default Space Duck

Very silly. I have an aweful abcess tooth, and my daughter was clinging to me all day (taking care of Daddy - she's 4) So I made this for her really quick to thank her... took about 5 minutes. I like the simplicity of Xara (this is using XaraLX "extremely goofy, I know" But I don't like to go without doing one form of art or another each and everyday

That was her idea, she didn't like the feet, so I asked her how he was gonna get around and she said "he just has a wheel..." It's off center (she was sitting on my lap while I did it) it was fun to do.... and it shows how simple Xara is to use to make simple illustrations using the simplest shapes. (there are about 11 layers here) The pieces for the eyes were done then duplicated (each circle) It was alot of fun making this little guy (I have actually come up with a million ideas for him already) It's great to be able to tap into the imagination of children
My son who is ten, is just learning this too, and he has a character called Big Fat Baby Eating O'Brien?? he has been drawing for about a year and he's excited to get to use Xara to do it on his pc....

Thanks..... I find it best to keep things as simple as possible and concentrate more on bold, bright colors when illustrating for children..... and basic shapes they can relate to

It's all been said, it is perfect for children.
I can see it now...The Adventures Of Roller Duck" cartoon strip,
or how about an animation in Xara, I'm sure she would love that.
    Saludos,
    Bob.
