I doubt Xara will be removing the website creation abilities introduced with Xtreme 5. Some site designers require the additional tools available in Xtreme or Xtreme Pro.
Also, I would expect the new colour UI to be exactly the same for XX6.
I'm not sure what options and tool bars you considering are missing Derek??

As normal, you can customise these via Window>>Control Bars 'button palette'
You can even remove the flyouts entirely if they aren't your cuppa tea (they aren'nt mine)

I'm not liking the grey either, I'd much more prefer the clean, XWD 5 type colouring.

I agree the new grey colour is gastly, I do hope there will be a choice in
Xara extreme pro 6, otherwise I wont buy it
I find it very difficult to read compared to the colours we are used to
At least they could offer the colour choice as in office 2007/2010

So the new colour scheme seems to be stirring up a bit of a frenzy lol personally as already said I love it makes it noce and modern and more inline with its competitors.

I would not view the colour scheme of the programme as a reason not too buy but hey each to their own Microsoft paint has a nice whit and blur scheme maybe have a look at that

I'm good with the color scheme. It's just in line with similar color schemes as have been adopted by Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop, to name a couple I've seen.

You're right, that's not intentional, you shouldn't see charcoal on black - we're looking into it.
