Nav Bar

Saw a Nav Bar on a site that I liked so I decided to try to replicate it in Web Designer. Quite easy.

Nice. Colors are a bit bright.

Why not use this as a starting point and come up with something that is better and is totally your own? I'm not being critical, but it is a really good exercise.

Don't quite understand your comments. I saw something that I thought that was interesting (buttons move up when moused over) and decided to try to create it in web designer. That was the exercise. The purpose of the bright non-contrasting colors was to show that the bar under the buttons also changed to correspond with the button colors. I wouldn't use these colors myself on a actual website. Again, it was just an exercise and to share the concept with others.

Hi BQ and Gary,

I like both of your ideas here. What you've done BQ is valuable and Gary, what you're suggesting for anyone who would decide to take up that challenge is also valuable. I don't see it as a criticism so much as an extention of what BQ has already done.

I don't think there is any harm in that.
