I can't believe it, I found how to fix it just by looking around at checking out different areas. Turns out in Layers Gallery / Mouse Over / Properties the editable was selected but not the visible. Once I selected the Visible, it showed the pics in the work file and I was able to delete them.

Whew... so happy that's resolved. Thank you everyone for all the help.

Well, I created this site using the Xara Web Designer demo.

Any pointers or criticisms? It's for my business and I want to make sure it is right.

Doh, forgot to put the address:

Cleverly - probably one of the best sites I've seen made with XWD - well done on a great job - very classy.

I would suggest that you either cut out the "Brides choice awards" flash, or replace the white background with your maroon colour.

For your additional photos, I might suggest thumbnails in place of the maroon squares, but it works as is.

    Impressive.

That's a very nicely designed site, Cleverly.

I did note, however, that at your Request Consultation the text "How did you find us?" is partially covered by the adjacent graphic.

How did you create your form?

Very nice Cleverly. You have a very appealing site to showcase your beautiful work.

Another little thing I noticed is on the consultation page. The red * at the end of "How did you find us" has droped to the next line all by itself. Also, does the * indicate required fields? I didn't see any mention of that.

I'd also like to know how you did the request info page as I'd like to add one our site (www.rvrs.ca).

    Thanks Paul and Cursor,

I've enjoyed posts from both of you in the past, very helpful when I had questions as I was designing the site. I never posted before, but I've been reading the forums.

Long time listener, first time caller har har.

Paul, I will definitely change those boxes to thumbnails, I agree that would look better.

And Cursor, thanks for pointing that out, I'll move that graphic over.

I created the form using Jotforms.

    Thanks for your feedback!

Welcome to the posting part of forum involvement, Cleverly.
I'll watch for your helpful posts and fine website examples in the future!

I'm going to have to buy Jotforms.

Edit: I see that it is a subscription service. They have both free and fee-based options. <click>

Red face Re: Show us your sites!

    Thanks Doby,

I did see that red dot drop down, I just havnt bothered to try and figure out how to fix it, since I created the form in Jotforms.

I'm currently using the free version of Jotforms, and the free version of Mals ecommerce for my shopping cart.

By the way, I think your site is great, If my in-laws lived in BC I'd tell them to call you, they're doing rennovations on their home pretty soon in Texas.
