    Only for the xealots
Anyone new to Xtreme and photo manipulation would find this sort of thing befuddling at first, often the simplest of effects can be the hardest to comprehend buy those who have yet to learn to 'think simply'.

Thanks everyone for showing what's possible!

I don't still fully understand how I can replicate it though.

Minimiro, I really liked you one, but I can't open your .xar file properly because I only own Xara X not the latest version.

Did you use a plugin, or did you use only vectors? Could you please show a simple and quick step-by-step to show us how you made it?

    Thanks to all.

Very nice and simple effect. I didn't understand the "show printer mode" view. Do you mean in the zoom options percentage dropdown list to click to "page" view?

In the Window menu there is a Show Printer Colors option. In the flyout select Simulate Print Colors.
