    If the colour editor is going to have 2 modes, instead of separate editors for line and fill (optimal solution, as it would be perfect to be able to change them both while having the other's editor open), please add a key shortcut to launch the editor in either mode:

    Ctrl+E to open the fill colour editor
    Ctrl+Shift+E to open the line colour editor

    I do this now with the "Current layer always visible and editable" option.

    I use it too, but now and then I'd like to see only the layer I'm working on. The "solo" buttons would do just that.

    That's what I'm saying. With that option on, I uncheck everything else and move from layer to layer, seeing/editing only the selected layer.

    I can see how the radio button would be useful if you have dozens of layers. OTOH, it's another piece of screen real estate gone, so I can also see how it wouldn't work for everybody.
