Help, some links are not work…….

I’ve done something silly on a page but don’t know what. On just one page of a site, the links to other web sites are not working.

When editing if I move the mouse over the highlighted link words it shows the web address as normal. On the link menu Web Properties>Link> the web address show up correctly. But when uploaded the wording shows up in the correct colour but there is no link there.

I did play around to change the link colours but have changed them back to the default colours.

Both when editing and when uploaded, the underline of the links does not appear, although I have a tick ‘Underline Text Links’ in Utilities> Web Properties>Website>

I think the biggest clue is that the underlines does not show on any links to external websites.

The links on other pages on the site work fine, just this one page is different.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Don't worry. I tried copying the contents of the page to anothe page and deleted the original, it all works fine now. It must have been something in the setting for that one page but I would have liked to know what the problem was so I could avoid it in the future.

Glad we could help.

I have found that from time to time something gets corrupted on a page and creating a new page as you discovered and deleted the bad page is the answer.

Thanks, I think you are right - I suppose it is the equivalent of 'switching the computer off at the wall'. I was surprised how when I copied the stuff across it all went across with all the links, anchors, formatting etc, nice.
