I felt it makes sense to record bugs in the new offering under one Thread - feel free to do your own thing.

The install initialisation "vanished" from any visible activity for over 10 seconds. Almost panicked.

simpliclean still has to be unticked to avoid it loading.

---wesiteintro.web still has to be saved otherwise you lose it altogether.---
EDIT: just found the file sitting in the Online Designs gallery > First Look > Introduction. (Previous versions, it was in an Introduction folder at the top level).

MAJOR:
Viewing websiteintro in the Internal browser, Edge & Chrome all lost the bottom of the page even with a vertical scroll available.
If the websiteintro page is rendered without a vertical scroll, you need to drag the window height another 5% for the page to present properly; in some viewports and longer pages, you are stymied.

You need to close and restart the application, saving wesiteintro.web, before the product is properly set up.

Identity Crisis:
Not mentions of XWD365P in splash screens or Help.
It is definitely XWD12P as the About shows it to be 12.0.0.44262.
The Program area does not mention 12.0.0 or 365.

Yes, it is picky, but the EULA refers to a "365 Update Guarantee"; the application and website call it "365 Day Update Guarantee".
The EULA gives a 14-day Right of withdrawal; the website where I purchased the product has a 30-day no quibble return.

Online Content Catalogue > Components > Print & Web Components >Shapes.

Hover over the word Shapes and you get a spiral thumbnail - no spiral shape in Shapes.

Online Content Catalogue still closes after a single Import operation. Why?

Page & Layer Gallery - Object Naming

Great idea to be able to rename objects.

MEDIUM: It doesn't extend to that name being output in the web site as the filename, id or alt text.

MEDIUM: An object copies over to XDPX11 but does not show in the Names Gallery as a Used Name.
It does not complain that this extra meta information has been added.
In fact, when copying back into XWD365P the object name is preserved.

MEDIUM: "...to help find objects and to organize your designs." How? Edit > Find/Replace... doesn't do it. Utilities > Names... ditto. Mark I Eyeball!

MINOR: If you clone the named object, it initially does not show up with its mini-thumbnail image in the gallery.

Local Designs gallery

Having spent an hour downloading into the Local Designs gallery, I got a satisfying "(updated)" alongside each heading.

I then downloaded from Help > Download content installer and new content was added despite the advice:

The content installer adds additional content that is not included in the free trial. That includes additional fill styles for the Fill Gallery and more spell checking dictionaries for other languages. It does not include any content for the Content Catalog / (Local) Designs Gallery - this is downloaded instantly on demand, but it does install into Windows fonts that are used by that content.

The "(updated)" labelling disappeared and now I have no clue what state my Local Designs gallery is in and when, or if, I will get to find out if new content is available.

It would also be nice that the EULA mentions the Content Installer and if it remains with enduring access.

MINOR: No mention of the content installer / content pack in the Program Help.
MINOR: http://support.xara.com/index.php?/T...er/Step/View/3 does not list XWD365(P).

Why do I get a More online... box that opens the Online Content Catalogue through double-clicking on right-click on Import or Import to new page when I already have all the current content in my Local Designs gallery?

MINOR: Rotate/Fade In needs to have two rotation directions.

Quiz: Search for "grid" in All.

For the two items that are described as Grid, which Folder are they under?

Hint: you can use the Find option in the Local Designs gallery > More... button.
Oh! Wait a minute, you can't as it's gone.

MAJOR: If the 365 Update Guarantee ends, you cannot search for any component.
MAJOR: Where is the missing Find capability in the application?

Reveal/Scroll

Add a Scroll animation with the Speed set to the extreme right.
Nothing happens as this is a speed of zero.

I think all other Speed sliders are zero on the left.

Not having a numbered scale is wrong.
Not having a input box is unhelpful.

Search with Online Content Catalogue and Symbol...

The Search box in the Symbols window (http://downloadsv12.xara.com/web/cha...character.html) auto-completes without the need to end a Enter character (pressing Return, etc).
The Symbols approach is far better.

The problem is Online Content Catalogue (OCC) > Symbols Fonts returns the label of the symbol you were searching for, which is what you actually need to be able to remember associations.
The OCC approach is far better.

Also, you cannot have both OCC and Symbols... open at the same time (Clark Kent and Superman).

Page and Layer gallery > Layers view

MINOR: With the gallery pinned, make its width smaller until the Locate button is pushed to a new row --> the More... button then goes to the row below that.
