Default 5 Column and multi row table

I have been through a lot of threads looking for a way to get a simple excel type table on a web page.
I do not have excel, but do have openoffice.org and it has tables, but they are not pasting to the web page....

Can someone help me out here?
Is there one somewhere I can download or copy from on the web?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Highlight the table in Open Office Calc. Hit Ctrl+C. In Web Designer or Xtreme, hit Ctrl+P, then select Enhanced Metafile from the popup list.

Thanks for the quick reply Cursor.
But I have been doing this, but I do not see it. I look in the object gallery, but I'm not seeing it.

    Any other suggestions for me?

    Thanks again bud

OK, it is there. But there are no tables. Just a blank square.
    No tables.....arrrrrgh!

I made it work in both Xtreme 5 (non-Pro) and in Web Designer 6. A page preview worked just fine. Attach your .web (or .xar) file, and your Open Office Calc file to your next post.

    Got it....Thank You Cursor.
A little FYI; you have to fill the cells with text or you get a blank sheet....no cells.

    Thanks again and as always.
    You guys are the best.

If you want the cell borders visible, you have to format them in Open Office.

That's cool that you got it figured out! Best of luck to you.
Interesting ... so text in your spreadsheet cells doesn't work? I wonder what happens with a mix of text and numbers?
