Wondering if anyone in the know could "leak" an answer to whether or not the free Web Hosting of 500MB will be available with the XaraXtreme 6 release?

The offer is open regardless:

I signed up without ever being asked if I owned any Xara or Magix software.
This is what the Magix website says:referenceOriginally Posted by Magix website

Thanks.
Finally managed to get FTP to login.

Have registered with Magix and can get my website to open in the route directory of the /public web address but cannot seem to get anything to show in a separate sub directory.
FTP client will create it and transfer to it, but when I try to browse to the /public/sub-directory, the browser just comes up with a 404 error.
Have looked and looked to see if you're restricted to the route directory only, but it's a pretty confusing place with online web site creation, online albums and paid for services, which all conspire to make it awkward to know what's what.
Does anyone know if sub-directories ( and hence multiple index.htm files) are allowed?
Thanks.
OOps ... sorry, maybe this should be in the Web section?
Sub-folders are fine so long as you have a trailing slash
eg; http://sledger.magix.net/public/a1/
I would not recommend using the service for anything other than testing purposes. It also appears that SE's are blocked.
You get what you pay for..
I spent last weekend attempting to put a site up on magic(x) web space and all I got were jumbled and or missing pages. The same site, uploaded elsewhere, went up without any problem.
As Steve said, you get what you pay for.

I was just using it to show a few test pages to a client, I'll know better next time.
