newbie, please help!! drop down titles

I just cant get this drop down thing. Thanks cursor but i need even more simple instructions so i can just do it once. Ill be ok after.

I have never been near designing a site before so the layer thing is new to me. I know its annoying, your help is very much appreciated. If I can just get drop downs for each tab then I should be able finish this then send you a bottle of wine!!!

Can you provide an outline of how you'd like the dropdown menus — for example:

Home
Competition Results
+ option 1
+ option 2

Ideally, like this.

HOME - nothing

Club - Membership, Clubhouse facilities, How to find us, history, Club officers

Visitors -Accommodation, Local Atractions, Green fees, Open Competitions

The Course - Course layout, Holes and Course card

members - Fixture list, Social, Competition results

While I'm toying with how to best help you with these specific dropdowns, you would do well to watch the series of video tutorials that I created on this very topic. They should help you understand how the various layers work. Go here and scroll down to "Videos by Curtis Sorenson".

You had added the pics in a layer called "menu2" I presumes they are just static pics with no functionality? If you want to link them to another website simply click on the pic then right click select web properties then link to address and type the address in

Think this is what you were after

Whne working on a page that is displayed all the time ie things you see constantly like pictures and static content make sure you have the little "dot" selected on the "mouse off" in the layer gallery (see highlighted att) also another point to note if you look directly above this you will see "mouse over" then what looks like an eye lash if you click on this eye lasy if will switch between what is seen on mouse off and mouse over, if you want to add things to the mouse over click the mouse over line so the "dot" is moved to this line.

Hoep that makes sens Im not great yet with Xara layers myself still very much learning with these
