    Default Number of Pages Limit?

I'm designing a website with Xara Xtreme Pro 5.1, and the total number of pages eventually will be over 30 pages, maybe even 50 pages, in one Xara file.

Is there a general limit to the maximum number of pages created before Xara Xtreme Pro 5.1 become unstable or slow?

I'm trying to keep everything together in one file because the "repeat objects" feature is such a time-saver. I'm just worried that if the Xara file gets too complex, it may crash and become unrecoverable.

    Thanks.

Sounds like a pretty big website.

A lot will depend on the amount of content you have on each page and of course your system resources.

It might not be a bad idea to create your site in several documents and link them together.

    Suggestion:
If you have a lot of pages that will not be updated, put them together.
Make the ones you are going to update into a separate file or files. This makes it easy to upload.
I have quite a large site but I use several files. I prefer this than one big file.

Gary, what's the best way to create separate documents and link them together as you suggest? Do I understand correctly that each page in a document is a file. Can we link to files in another document? Does that option come up in the link dialog box?

Have a peek at this very simple example. =)
