Text displays in bitmap

All:

I have a problem with text being displayed in bitmap format. I know if regular text is grouped then "previewed" it is converted into a bitmap. But, the text on all my pages have been converted to bitmap.

What gives? How can I recover. Bitmap format is very hard to read unless I zoom way in.

This does not sound right.

Is your text grouped with any other object?

If you even group a line of text it will export as a bitmap.

Can you give us some more details?

Aside from 'group'ing text (alone, or with other components), text is exported as graphics if,

1. The text has been rotated (even very slightly), or
2. The aspect ratio of the text has been modified
