    Default Problem with hyperlinks

Please look at this page: http://maui-island-vacations.com/index4.htm -
When you mouse over a button the original text shows up behind the button. I don't see anywhere to delete that.
    Does anyone know how?

You still have those objects on mouseover layer.

Do this for each of the buttons:
    • Change the text on your MouseOver layer to match what you have on the MouseOff layer.
    • Make sure that the 'Web Properties > Link (tab) > Popup Layer' is properly set for both the MouseOff and MouseOver layers. Note that while the only the MouseOff requires a link, the MouseOver layer should not use a conflicting link.

edit: It does look like you've partially addressed the problem, but as John notes in his post, there are still at least six buttons on the MouseOver layer that need to be either deleted or edited.

Make your "MouseOver" layer visible and editable. You'll see those redundant images and text. Select them and delete. Tell us if you need more detailed instructions.

Every image, including menus and buttons, should have a tag. This means that when you mouse over the image the text appears. All websites should use this as it addresses accessiblity issues. If someone with poor sight is being read to by their computer, it will be able to read aloud the tag saying what the image is.

If this doesn't happen, then you are not meeting the standards for accessibility. For example, go to www.asda.co.uk and hover the mouse over the images and buttons. The text will appear which means they are complying with the regulations relating to accessibility.

If this is what is happening on your website, it is not a problem, congratulations you are doing the right thing.
