This has been happening intermittently in both 5.0 and 5.01.

Needless to say, I would love to make this behaviour stop. Thanks in advance.

Can you post the .web (or a stripped down copy that has the problem)?
Well, this behaviour is most strange. I uploaded the files to my web server to see if the problem still existed and, you guessed it, it was fine. This only happens when I view the site locally. This makes it an academic issue, only. I will try to strip down the file to the minimal parts required to duplicate in the next couple of days.

I ran into display quirks with local preview also. But local preview uses the IE rendering engine............need I say more?
Sometimes, when you often export over the save location and preview, browser can mistakingly keep the old images in cache. Ctrl+F5 in IE usually helps.
John.
I had tried clearing the cache, but that didn't help. Here's a stripped down example.

I discovered that my development machine which runs an ATI HD-2600 video card at 1920 x 1200 is the only pc I can make this happen on, and only when viewing locally. Still, might be of minor interest to the developers. It's certainly not a worry, since visitors to the site will not be affected.

It's fixed! Turned out to be a corrupt video driver. Sorry for wasting your time.
David
Glad you were able to find the problem.
