About Xara splash screen.

As I remember, someone asked Charles to place Xara splash screen
in ordinary file to easy change it. (In feature release).

But it is pretty easy to change splash screen in current release.

In most cases splash screens are stored in .EXE or .DLL file as
standard windows resource. You can access these resources with
many utils called 'resource editors'.

One of them (335kb free and easy to use) can be downloaded from here:
http://www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk/d6peresourceeditor.htm

In PEExplorer open XaraXEnu.dll file and find BITMAP\101 entry.
Edit it and save file.
Also check BITMAP\30464 entry.

Certainly do it on your own risk. Better create backup copy.
Also see Xara license agreement, maybe it is prohibited to
modify Xara X in this way... Ask Charles.

In DIALOG section I found some interesting templates looks
like unused in Xara X.

Any Xara gurus knows where to find these features ? See below.

The images are hotlinked - pulled of another server. Actually, you can do it internally at TG also.

When posting/replying to a post use 'display image' (the icon that looks like a picture) to point to the location of it.

When hotlinking externally - make sure you have the permission to do so. Bandwidth theft is a plague...

Wow, I haven't seen that one in a long time. Used to have a neat castle icon that I switched out for my standard Xara icon. <sigh>
