Default Where would we be without these?

The world's most widely grown tuber crop!
How often do most of us eat a potato or a potato product each week..

I keep my intake of carbs' down, but I couldn't imagine life without eating at least some spuds...

    All done in XXP...

I have to admit Sledger.... I had never, even thought about how I would react if I ever saw someone post such a great looking tribute to the potato
But now I am, cuz someone has... and, had the ability existed to post this picture on the internet back in the days of the great famine.... well, let's just say there'd be many a broken monitor screen and broken noses

Nice job... Luckily, I don't pay much attention at all to what my intake of anything is.. (except the use of alcohol and narcotics, which I have no use, nor desire for) because I am immortal

A great tribute to the spud, Sledger. Nice texturing.

Very a Peeling. I thought it was a photo of a real tattie. We have a saying in Scotland "Tattie Peelings" meaning Ta Ta the noo. or cheerio.
The spud was brought to Britain by Sir Walter Raleigh. I think he used his bike to carry them.

Ahhh baked, boiled, mashed, or fried; potatos are good and nutritious.

    Excellent drawing!

I enjoy "solanum tuberosum" around 4 times a week. Ok, with that and my regular wine intake, I´m a bit overweight. But life is short, and good stuff like the "taters" makes it worth while.

Very good image by the way

Thanks to all for looking and commenting.. I'm having a good bit of relaxing fun doodling in Xara.. The spuds needed some more attention I thought, so I've played a little more with shading, re drew the eyes, chopped one in half and fried up a few chips.. Hurry up else they'll go cold..

Very nice rework on the 'taters' Steve. The chips are especially well textured/coloured, they look like a photo. Stubbed my fingers trying to grab them from the screen
