How do I get the Plug-ins for Xtreme?

How do I get the LiveEffects for Xtreme? I went to the web site and say the link to view them but I can not find where to get them. They are not on my CD

if the plugins in question are not in the default folder you need to tell xara where they are from menu:
utilities/options/effects & plugins/setup
live effects included with the CD should install automatically when you install xtreme

Well, I tried reinstalling the software and I still do not have any plug-ins. My disk says Xara X1. Is that my problem? Does my version not support the plug-ins? I also sent a note to the support desk.

Yes, Xara X1 is an old version of Xara Xtreme. The plugins started with Xara Xtreme and are also included in Xara Xtreme Pro, but not in Xara X1.

Hi there,
here are some free plugins to install(they may not all work)
install or extract to a plugin folder on your PC
in Xara have the utilities>options>effects&pluginstab>setup point at the folder where you placed the effects>start Xara again >done

I found mark mcLaren's remove white [on the third link] particularly useful for removing white backgrounds within xara x1 - still use it with xtreme too

Has anyone tried to use Vertus Tech Fluid Mask in Xtreme Pro before with any success? I installed it in Photoshop and was able to get Xara to recognize it and run it but when I tried a save it crashed Xara

I had a similar problem with this plug-in, when I tried to use it Xara Pro crashes.
