    Default New Embroidery Free Download

In today's new issue of Unleashed Newsletter, there is a really cool link, I'll cut to the chase and provide the free link to Corel for the download which works for both 12.0 and X3.

The rest is self-explanatory and the effect shows up in the Effects meu when you relaunch DRAW 12 or X3. Very nice with the use of brushes and the italic presets. Better than flat shape, rather like a textured bevel effect.

    Two thumbs up from me.

or if you want to read about it, here is the long route.

Here is a sample of what can be done with this filter. And I have only experimented just a little.

Okay, I get that annoying out of memory error... even if I make my graphic very small, still tells not enough memory...

Uh... 2GB, nothing running except X3, still not enough memory...

When it works, it's pretty good though. Looks real!

The only time I've gotten out of memory error is when working with M's and W's, also anything else that is all points. It does curves best.

I struggled today yesterday to see how a customer's logo would look in embroidery stitch. Everything went fine except for the "M". I even converted to curves, broke everything apart and got everything done except the "M". I ended up making it a "V" with two lower case "L's" to complete it.

It isn't perfect. The best results are on curves.

Playing with dingbat fonts was fun, however. I guess you have to pick your media.
