So basically what your saying if it's a true PNG the gray/white background won't show up, but because it was a JPG it stayed.

Bob, the checkerboard background is added to transparent images on pixabay to show what is transparent and what is not.

Yours looks like an image grab rather than a bona-fide download. Jpgs have no transparency.

I suggest you directly search and download transparent images on the internet.
There are a lot of free transparent HD image sites here.
Just use it after downloading.
Recommend some popular transparent image download sites:

But I need to remind you that if you use a copyrighted transparent image,
be sure to explain the source of the image to avoid unnecessary copyright troubles.

i know this is a fairly old thread but I think you can do this with Xara if you know what you are doing. and a reasonable knowledge of perspective.but it would be far easier in to do in another program such as Google SketchUp for instance.

Larry - I think the member who started this thread was asking if Xara could creating a image with no background.
