The Chinese text was written by a translator who sent me the font and installed it already but i have no idea why Xara doesn't recognize it though it shows as installed under Fonts!

It is possible the Font does not have any Unicode characters.
On my machine, the following all work:
Lucinda Sans Unicode
Tahoma 現在怎麼樣棕色牛
Arial Unicode MS
Ebrima
Gadugi
Leelawadee UI
Malgun Gothic
Microsoft JhengHai
Microsoft Sans Serif
Microsoft YaHei
MS Gothic
MS Mincho
MS PGothic
Nirmala UI
Segoe UI
SimSun
Yu Gothic
Copy & Paste from a browser or MS Word into a Text Area set to Tahoma works.
As to the writing direction, I have no clue.

Acorn, your method worked great just needed to align and bold the text where needed since i pasted it as unformatted text ! (pasting as rich text didn't work)
Thank you very much for your support !
the font list in xara reports those fonts that are installed in windows and that is why you see it even if xara cannot use it [windows is the only place you can install fonts; when xara installs downloaded fonts, it installs them in windows]
windows will install a vast variety of fonts that are not necessarily usable in every application; xara is no exception to this
