Drag the fractal to the AutoSketch Window. Point inside the area with the solid fill tool. Export to WMF. I usually separate the line drawing and delete it. The object has a border line anyway. Takes about 30 seconds. It requires that the segments meet end to end.
This is different application from SketchUp.
