Hello Everyone,

In the Xara Gallery Thread "Buttered Corn", BCDeb asked for a mini-tutorial on the Salt Shaker and the Silver Rimmed Plate. The plate tutorial was a little easier to make, so it is presented first.

The measurements for the ellipses in the tutorial are approximate. You may have to make minor adjustments the get everything to fit together correctly.

Sorry about the file size 67KB.

Hi Soquili, thanks for your mini tutorials, they are always helpful. Now I can eat my glass corn off a silver plate and use my gold plated salt n' pepper shakers. Life is wonderful....tao

Nice China, Soquili. Now you need to add your corn (dripping with butter of course) for the piece de resistance.

Tao and Gary, Thanks for your kind comments. Here is a variation of the plate with the buttered corn (grilled the way Risto likes it )
