Both of these programmes will not start under Win ME. I get an error message "..... has caused an error in XARADRAW.DLL and will now close."

I thought an upgrade to Xara X would cure problem but no luck.

Very disappointed as good old Corel Xara has been my mainstay for about 5 years!!

Had this problem ocaisionally with Win 98 but is now permanent.

Have 128MB RAM and all other programmes (about 15 are perfect)

    Any cures out there?

Try posting this in the Xara X conference. There are a lot more people who check into that conference and someone should have the answer.

Gary is right. Post in Xara X forum. Someone will know. I run WinME and Xara X works fine. Hope that gives you some comfort.

The fact that you had the problem with '98 implies that it's nothing to do with ME. ME is more like NT and maybe more intolerant of bad behaviour. Check out what you've got running at the same time, particularly hardware drivers. Given the nature of Xaradraw.dll, try changing the VGA driver to a standard Windows variety.
