how to import into xara

Hello to you all,

It's bin a while but so now and then im am doing someting with Xara. I now scanned an image and used the magnetic lasso tool in PS to get rid of the background. But when I export the image as tif or png I can only import it as a square in X. What am I doing wrong?

AFAIK, a tiff can't be transparent. Png can, but you have to specify the transparency in the application from which you're exporting the image. I don't use PS, so I can't tell you how to do it from there.
