Well,
I think we have a result here in the nose department.

This is all well worth the effort I'm sure Mr Bat. There's still plenty of work to be done and I feel that you could keep this one going till P7 arrives, when I'll be having a big bitch about the Vis Mask still not working.

Looks like the mouth is next. You have improved it but you know, it doesn't look like a part of the face. I think maybe the mouth just needs more modeling, the twist is gone. Perhaps the shadow should be more under the lip rather than to the side. I know you feel the light is coming from 10 o' clock but there really is nothing sticking out that would cause the shadow to be where it is. Is anyone still reading this.

Greg,

I like the faraway look in her eyes. Like she's thinking of something or someone.

I think Thenlonious has something there about the mouth. I'm seeing the highlight above the upper lip, and although it is sufficiently delicate, ummm it's not following the line of highlight along the nose --- meaning it does not start directly beneath where the line of highlight ends.

Ok how about this. . . would moving the highlight and the mouth just a millimeter to the right do what you want it to do? Just wondering.

I really find that I keep going back to look at her eyes. They interest me. So the rest seems less important. But then again, I always like looking at people's eyes.

I'm not sure how you improved them exactly but you got some spirit in there now .

Keep up the good work and thank you for posting the progress.

Athena

I'm afraid that it hurt you for me retouching your image.
I'd like to explain your misunderstand about humans's nose and mouth, but i can't explain effectively because of my poor english.
so i retouched over nose and mouth...
of course, i don't know the photo or lady you draw
so i retouched from my memory about general lady.
i hope it helpful...for you.

Hi Doodle,
Long time no see. Thanks for the pointers.
BTW, I don't mind your touch up on the picture.
Regards,
Greg.
P.S. Please don't let your English limit your posts, as far as I can tell you are doing OK.
