Hello,

Has P6 disabled the insert color in color palette feature? I can do it just fine with P5. (By insert i mean in between two colors, not at the end of the color palette)

Thanks,
Phil

Hey Phil...

Phil, i do this by holding ALT&SHIFT, then clicking the mouse in between 2 adjacent swatches... is this the same method you use?

If it is... then i too am now unable to do this in PS6. It would appear they've dumped that cool feature. WHY?!!! Not cool...

One would tend to think that Adobe wouldn't take out something like that from one version to the next - it's SO useful!.. but, ya never know for sure i guess, huh...?

PS: oh, and i've tried a few key-combos too using ALT, SHIFT & CTRL... no worky though.

Hi, I've searched in my books and found this:

"To insert a color from the panel, Shift-Ctrl click a swatch."

Is it this you are looking for?

If you don't work against time, time often works for you.
