I love the feeling of difused light that you have added. It looks as if you photographed the still life on a light table and shot it through a diffusion lens.
In the early days, photographers used to use a piece of nylon stocking over the lens to achieve this effect.

Love these images. Really like the juice drops in the final image Chuck.
One point tho, the higlights in the dimples should change from light in the highlighted area to dark outside the highlighted areas.
