That's right, they released an upgrade to the old LightWave hat. This new version comes standard with a high quality cloth strap and a brass buckle, to allow adjustable sizes. This truly is the greatest upgrade to the LightWave hat in years. Here are some of the features and improvements:
- Improved RealTime display
- State-of-the-art RealTime Antialiasing
- OneSizeFitsAll® Technologoy (though, for those rare cases there is a cool cloth strap - no cheap lamo plastic ones!)
- Improved LightWave [7] silver emblem, embroidered on front, as well as LW [7]'s slogon, "[It's Everywhere]"
- Updated website url on back
- Native support for all head formats (including the new SubPatch NURBS)
- Re-created from the ground up, the new hat architecture allows for a true 360 degree panoramic viewport, meaning that everyone around you can see it all at the same time, for a true multi-tasked display.

Check it out!

(I know, I know, I also posted this in the New Gear section...does that count as spamming? )

Earl,

no, I don't consider this to be spamming, this is information. So I know that I can purchase at least a small portion of LighWave ;-}, just to tease Maxon with Cinema 4D a bit...

hi guys & girls,

had some minutes today and wanted to squeeze my new machine a bit.

download the avi here:

http://jens.highspeedweb.net/samples/giovanni01.exe

It's 580 k in size.

it's a selft extracting archive - just double click it and the result is an *.avi.

It's a bit tricky to make him walk, but I think there is much more we can do with him.

let me know what you think about the 'animation studies'
