    I tried it all.
    Some kind of anomaly going on.
    I have installed a handful of Xara programs on the same computer and monitor without any problems.

    @Handrawn,
    Earlier in this thread you mentioned that you have v20 perpetual installed. Could you please check the registry entries and see what values you have set.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Xara\XtemeProPerpetual x64\20\Options\DontShowAgain

    There are 6 entries all set to zero.

    It would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Sunland

    No, these are guidance for using Web Blocks, which are disabled in v20 Perpetual.

    @Handdrawn,
    "if UpdateDontShowAgain is set to 0, try setting it to 1"

    Huray! Great detective work.
    In case it is not obvious it worked.

    Greatly appreciated,

    you are welcome

    I have noticed before that welcome notices and update notices appear, sometimes, to share the same routine; only just occured to me to check

    Head to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Xara\XtremeProPerpetua l x64\20\Options\Update” and see if changing “UpdateDontShowAgain” to “1” makes a difference.
