Separators (like the pipe symbol "|") In WebStyle 3.1 NavBars

Is it possible to produce, with Xara WebStyle 3.1, separators (e.g., "|") CENTERED between the main navigation items associated with horizontal navigation bars?

The intuitive approach of simply adding the "|" character in the item text does not work - it does not produce a CENTERED separator. If it is indeed impossible with WebStyle, this simple feature seems to be a major ommision in the WebStyle software.

Incidentally, the centered separator should be a "real" separator and should not respond to mouseovers (like those that WebStyles can produced by adding the desired separator character as items in the menu list).
