Default Re: Importing PDF in Xara Designer Pro

The file does open at times but as a jpeg file. the issue with that is certain letters are missing from the document as well as all lines blocks/grids
Every page has a grey block which can be removed (see attached)
Unfortunately the site is not allowing me to upload more images

ok, I'm not the expert acorn is in PDF documents - he asked if you could give access to the PDF, he may be able to help further if you can; otherwise it is a question to ask xara themselves maybe...

Pity, you omitted the file sizes but the datetimes are identical apart from you being an hour before me.

My guess is the PDF itself.

If you are not uploading to us then you need to engage with Xara directly.

Zaahir, the file sizes are identical. Only the msi file differs.

The PDF imports fine into XPro+ &XDPXv12 so it is not the file.
It does, however, only render as Shapes, no OCR text or text fields.

If that is what you are expecting, here is the same imported: RFQ.xar

If you are working on PDFs regularly then contact Xara for sorting out your installation.
