it's nothing to do with wireframing. I used the CSS Debugger option in my browser (Vivaldi has it built in; others are probably an Add-On 'CSS Debugger').
It doesn't matter what you see, it is what you can click.
If you click an item and it just closes or if you click the right-most edge of the last letter and it does then you know there is someting in that vicinity.
If after you successfully click to another page and all works after that then the something may be a copy of the menu with the wrong link values on top of the proper one.
Without you design, i can only report outcomes.
Check you don't have a double hamburger.
Also if I am getting this on a PC then the iPhone part is a red herring.
Clone the design file to a different name.
Delete the content of the Main pages but not the menu.
Even delete some complete pages (Main & Variant).
We don't need every page, just index and a couple more...
...your republished site seems to be working correctly.
Now you need to advise your client to purge their browser cache (Ctrl+F5) and recheck.
