a problem you likely won't have, if you have a tablet-computer, is latency

I tried a wifi tablet once, but no joy.. can't get my head round the stroke appearance on screen lagging behind the physcial action, even by a small amount; and it makes sound sync a bit of a nightmare; maybe why my cintiq pro does not have the option...

parallax on the otherhand [offset of the line from the stylus point] is something to watch out for

in the tub some devices are water resistant, or claim to be; my samsung phone is pretty good in that regard, can take pictures under cold water, never tried hot and don't intend to... anyway i much prefer a shower...

the connection between stylus and computer is not really an issue; I was more thinking of a tablet and seperate computer going through the local network/router

ArtRager and long time Wacom user here too.

Hardly any problems with Wacom's, but then I've not tried anything else to compare.

Most of the current alternatives look pretty good, but personally I would also avoid pens with batteries.

Here's pretty much the last AR (ink pen) sketch I did. Second image used watercolours and grungy overlay shenanigans.

I've got artrage, but it falls into the catagory of not often used; if I digitally paint I prefer corel painter which i have been using since it was macromedia fractal design painter, again 20 years ago...

ernie that is an excellent representation

Here is an other drawing I does in ArtRage. After I thought better it will be as a vector drawing,
but lazy as I am I vectorize it in Inkscape. It's faster then redraw it in Xara.

(ArtRage) Same here, the image I posted was from August last year!

(Chess piece) I’ve tried in the past but I don’t think I’m wired up for it. I like the idea and quite envious of those who do. There seems to be an active club that play at Hull library.

Ernie, that vespa drawing is great.
