Tab Position

Just starting off on my Xara WD journey so please be gentle!

Re tabs, I have a small list and have tabbed the right hand items. I'd like to bring the tab position back to the left a bit.

Is there a way of adjusting the tab position in a block of text?

Yes. As you are typing and editing your text you will see tabs at the top of the text area. Select all your text (Ctrl + A or Edit > Select All) and then just move the first tab as desired.

Was that gentle enough?

It helps if the Rulers are showing first; Windows > Bars > Rulers (Alt-W-B-R).
The toggle Key shortcut is Shift+Ctrl+R.

The displayed Ctrl+L only works if you are not using the Text tool!

GW, after I posted I half-expected a roasting re use of the term "block", which I "caught" from playing around with Squarespace so your "gentle" answer was most appreciated!
