I think this final looks just SUPER John!! I think the hair looks much softer, don't you?? The blouse is perfect, as is the rest of the illustration!!
Big Thumbs Up! I think this is like your first really big project that we have watched from start to finish, eh?? I could be wrong but then again I've been wrong allot in my life!!

---Wolff On The Prowl---
Hi Richard,
Yes it is about the most time consuming project I have done in quite some time. Most pictures are of the get it done fast type. You know, under four hours start to finish.
This one, I actuially took the time and got it mostly right. Learned alot and think I progessed beyond the coloring book stage.
BTW: Thank you for the encoraging words and time to really look at the drawing.

WOW! Just popped back in for a look to see how she was coming along and was staggered! What a great picture. I love the way the blouse turned out, very clever.
So who's next, your step-daughter?
Carol Leather
Hello Carol,
Carol,
I think she would be a good subject. But teenage girls do not like to pose for pictures. I guess I will have to convince her.
I started to do my grandaughter, but the kid does not stand still long enough to get a good picture. At least one good enough to draw from.
BTW: Thanks for enjoying the picture. the blouse looks almost real enough to touch, unless you look real close and hard.

Great work John. Looks very much like the photo, only more artistic.

Well done John
Thanks for sharing the entire process.
Bill and Ed,
thanks for the very kind comments. Now I want to draw something else. that is the hard part. Finding something good to draw...
I know what I would like to draw, but I do not think I could get a model to pose for that.

John,
Really nice work. Beautiful wife you have there. It was great to see the progression of your drawing.

I will pass on the information to my beautiful bride. I think I will keep her. At least until she throws me out on my can.
