Default Gary Bouton's Mezzanine level Xara Art

At this point, thumbing through 45 pages of my gallery is just too much on the eyes and on the thumbs.

So I'm starting a new gallery here, until someone of authority tells me I can't, take this down, please.

Our Administrator needed a "Don't Panic" button yesterday. And I was busy and decided to just go to Vectoreezy or FreePics and just yank down a free, downloadable picture I could scale.

But I wasn't happy with any free illustrations I saw, and then turned to "pay for" clipart to see if I couldn't find a good example I could illustrate within, say, five minutes.

Yeah, Adobe's clipart area had a good example, but Lordy: they wanted $ xx for the thing? Remembering Gary P.'s tutorial on glass things, and my own on Xara Xone's YouTube channel on making reflective stuff...

This was too simple not to share! Xara made some very, very quick work of stock design work. If this art looks familiar, it is. :)

The file is attached here, please use if/when the need arises.

    My Best,

    Gary

Thanks Gare, that might come in handy.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Hi Boy! I guess you saw the "We have moved" sign on thew door of the other gallery!

I did an international symbols font years ago, was too ambitious (or didn't know how to count) and I had about 11 or 12 symbols left over.

The paths have needless extra control points on them, and I was going to go through the effort of cleaning them up, but didn't. You have a chance, though :)

I give this file to our community to freely use.

    My Best,

    Gare

I sure did and now I'm here!

    Thanks for the symbols Gare.

For those interested in Gare's international symbols font: https://fonts2u.com/bouton-international-symbols.font. It's charityware, so not free.

    Default Xara and Art Restoration

I believe this poster is from the 1940s 1950s, Dubrovnik.

On a Pinterest gallery, the reproduction was shameful. So I used Xara Designer to repair the bottom, which took some artistic guesswork where areas were completely wiped out.

A hard edge poster calls for a vector program, IMO, to repair it.

Why thank you, boy! I was playing Smashing Pumpkins while I was carving it.

    That's a great job, Gary.
As you say, very difficult to guess what's missing in the bottom right corner.

I like the poster Gare. How much was missing?
