But I wanted to thank each and every one of you that has, in their own way, helped me out, encouraged me, and critiqued my art for the past 4 years. Since an art class during school was not an option because of schedualing this group of people was the best thing that could happen to be. It's like having a hundred different teachers all here only because they love art and are willing and passionate to help others. The unique styles and work and advice that comes from every single one of you is a true reflection to the passion. Because of time I've not been able to post a lot here lately, but I will try to check in every so often and get some of my work up here for you guys to put under the scope. Thanks again, and take care!

Going off to art school is very exciting. I can still remember my first year at Art Center. I envy you in a way. On the other hand, at this end of my career, I don't think I would have the enery or enthusiasm I had back then.

I'm not sure if you got my mail in time, so I'll say it here also: enjoy the ride! I mean really enjoy it! Very few people have the - skill set - real motivation - sensitivity (I'm not sure how that translates to English (it's a positive thing http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif ) - guts - to go where you will be going.

You have nothing to be nervous about! Use your head, and trust yourself - learn from the smart ones... AND learn from the dumb ones... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

In all, you will see some goofy, and amazing things - enjoy all if it, and use your heart and pick out the things you will need to go where you want to go.

Steve, there are more than a handful of people at these forums that would be honoured to give you feedback on the things you will be doing... AND no one would be upset with you ignoring all of it.
