Can't find the right profile - why not make your own with an art brush.

Sorry missed out a step in my haste yesterday.

should have read:

Just create the shape you want to use as the profile, make an art brush from the shape and apply it to the line.

So long as the original shape is vector you can convert the result back to a shape if necessary.

Users have wanted to create their own line profiles for as long time and this is an alternative way to do it.

This is exactly what my sketching brushes are. Like your propeller shape I created simple black shapes and made art brushes out of them.
