Default export animation to AVI problems

    Hi
I'm working in Web Designer Pro X11.
Whenever I attempt to export an animation to AVI ( uncompressed, 25 frames per second) the process takes an age and then the resultant file is broken - displaying messages that the codec is incorrect.
    Can anybody help?
    Many thanks, Colin

    Hi Egg
    Thanks for replying.
I think the problem is size. The original exported AVI file was a massive 2.85 GB. I've since broken the animation into shorter and smaller exports. The AVI files are still large (over a GB each) but do play in Media Player and open in Serif Movieplus; the larger one would open in neither.
Is there an upper limit for exported AVI size?

Not that I'm aware of but hardly ever worked with avi's for years now.

I guess the problem lies with my computer.
The reason I export to AVI is that they're ideal for seamless inclusion into larger videos, and more importantly
AVI seems to be the only export option that will import into my video editor (Serif Movieplus).
If there's another way, I'd be grateful for any advice.
    Many thanks, Colin
