Leftover assets

I create a monthly newsletter (basically an individual site) by bringing up the last month's, replacing text and articles and publishing as the new month. One problem I've noticed is that though I've deleted pictures and text boxes from prior editions, I see a few leftover files such as audio/video/pdf that are no longer in the current version, but somehow didn't delete when I blew up the boxes/images/etc. Thus every time I publish, the old files are published again. I find no way inside the program to audit these files and discard everything but those being used in the current edition. Is there an easy utility to do that?

they're stored in [Websitename]_xar_files and located alongside your website's .xar file when you save the project. deleting them while you're working on the project doesn't remove them from this folder. they gotta be deleted manually thru that support folder before you build the site
