    Default Variant problem

    Hi

I have modified the Ocean R template for my website.
Both tabs for the main site and the variant are in the programme
Having created the pages in the main site and switching to the mobile page I notice that none of the pages have been populated in the mobile variant
I can select specific items in each page and use ( website variants- link to variant page)
I have obviously missed some point here can anyone spot the mistake and how to correct.

    See attached print screen view

    Thanks in anticipation
    John

This does not sound right at all. Is they any way you can upload your file so we can try to figure out what is happening here?

When you create a variant, all the material from the main site is normally copies to the new pages, and then as you have said, you adjust the content to fit the new variant page size.

    Quickest way around this:

Save a copy in case this doesn't work.
Utilities / Website Variants / Website Variants / Delete the mobile variant
Utilities / Website Variants / Website Variants / Create mobile variant.

All the content should now be in each variant.

Thanks to you both for your reply's

I chose to use Eggs solution and this has worked perfectly.

I can only guess that somewhere during building the main site the link has been lost, as no pages whatsoever carried through to the mobile site

Thanks for a speedy solution which worked perfectly.
