XARA 6!

Even though I have Registered ALL versions of Xara - Recently when doing something,
Version Pro6 came up as the product that Xara was Defaulting too...
Now, since I CURRENTLY have both Vers 9 & Vers 10 on my computer,
Why would Version 6 come up as Default?
(I was getting ready to Delete vers 9 as I was use to vers 10; but, now I am afraid too!)

What do I need to do:

1) Eliminate ver 6?

Why so large a font!?

Download XaReg (link in my sig) and reset the .xar / .web registration prompt for version 10.
Next time you run ver 10, confirm you want to register it as the default file opener.

Is version 6 around here somewhere? Should I do a Search to get RID-OF-IT once and for ALL?

Go to the Windows control panel and Uninstall version 6 if you don't want it, but it really doesn't take much room to leave it.

Tried the Program in you Signature. Nothing came up for me to 'Confirm' when I started Vers 10 ...

I don't think it will Tom simply because you changed a registry entry. Since you did that does it come up in V10 now?

I had to Open it in Vers 10, then Export it. Then I changed the Default programs (I hope -what fun finding where to do that was! NOT!)
Microsoft is Incredibly abstruse!

It should do, that's what the change in the reg setting is set to do.
In XaReg make sure you choose Xara Xtreme Pro 6 (internally it's still Xara Xtreme)

But, I want version 10 to be the Default not XPro 6!

Oh well, just ignore my typo and replace 6 with 10, okay?
