Nice photo. Sometimes I forget that a creature with that name is a bird. I sort of expected to see a furry rodent.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Really good clarity and composition. A pity the bird did not co-operate by raising the tuft a bit more.

What type of camera do you use?
Hi Kathi, I have a Nikon D7100 DSLR, I mostly use my 55mm to 300mm zoom. I almost always use a tripod, I have a small tube bird feeder so only a few birds can get seeds at a time. That means the rest must sit and wait so I focus on a branch and wait for one to come along. More information than you asked LOL oh and welcome to talkgraphics!!!
